Protests following the 2009 Iranian presidential election against alleged electoral fraud and in support of opposition candidate Mir-Hossein Mousavi are underway in Tehran and other major cities in Iran and around the world. The ongoing protests have been given several titles by its supporters including Green Revolution or Sea of Green , due to presidential candidate Mousavi's campaign color, and also Persian Awakening.
